Real estate was an important chapter in David Campanella’s entrepreneurial career. He spent years investing in and developing residential real estate, building a portfolio of properties and gaining firsthand experience in acquisition, renovation, property operations and the economics of real estate investing.

After successfully building his real estate interests, David ultimately exited the business and redirected his attention toward new entrepreneurial opportunities. The experience helped shape his approach to business today: understand the numbers, recognize value, build efficient systems and remain willing to evolve when new opportunities emerge.

Home Improvement & Home Services

David’s experience in real estate naturally led to extensive exposure to the home improvement and home services industries. Today, that experience is reflected in businesses focused on helping homeowners improve, protect and enhance their properties.

Through Legacy Roofline Solutions and related ventures, such as Hudson Christmas Lighting Experts, David has been involved in permanent architectural lighting, seasonal lighting, gutters, gutter protection and other exterior home services throughout Northeast Ohio.

His approach combines practical home improvement experience with modern technology and an emphasis on creating services that provide both functional and aesthetic value for homeowners.

Lighting by Legacy

One of David’s newest ventures is Lighting by Legacy, a contractor-focused permanent architectural lighting nationwide program being developed to help established contractors enter and grow within the rapidly expanding permanent lighting industry.

Lighting by Legacy is being built around more than simply supplying a lighting product. The program is designed to provide contractors with installation education, sales training, marketing resources, operational support and ongoing industry knowledge.

David is also developing an extensive contractor education platform through Lighting by Legacy, including installation demonstrations, sales and estimating guidance, product education, business-development strategies and practical training for contractors interested in adding permanent architectural lighting to their existing businesses.

Healthcare, Homecare & E-Commerce

David Campanella’s entrepreneurial experience also extends into home care, healthcare products and e-commerce. Through years of operating in the home care industry, David recognized a growing need among clients and families for convenient, dependable access to adult incontinence products and other essential care supplies.

To meet that demand, David developed a wholesale adult-care product line in collaboration with one of the nation’s largest distributors of adult incontinence products. The program allows his home care operation to better serve clients while creating an additional healthcare distribution channel.

Adult Care Depot was developed as the retail extension of that business, bringing the same product access directly to consumers through an e-commerce platform. Together, the wholesale and retail businesses reflect David’s approach to entrepreneurship: identify a real need within an existing business, develop a practical solution, and then expand that solution to serve a broader market.

Building Businesses in Cleveland and Beyond

Although David’s business interests have expanded into different industries and markets, Northeast Ohio remains an important part of his professional story.

From real estate investing to home improvement and permanent architectural lighting, David Campanella has spent much of his entrepreneurial career building businesses in the Greater Cleveland market while increasingly developing concepts designed to operate on a broader scale.

Today, his focus is on continuing to grow existing businesses while developing Lighting by Legacy into a contractor-focused platform capable of serving independent business owners throughout the United States.
